Why We Love Them

These vegan wax food wraps are washable, reusable and biodegradable, and we think they're an excellent swap for cling film!

Use them to cover bowls, wrap up leftovers, and wrap up sandwiches in place of plastic sandwich bags.

Not only do these beautifully designed wraps replace single-use plastic such as cling film and sandwich bags, reducing plastic waste in the environment, they are also super effective in keeping your food fresher for longer.

Care Instructions

These wax wraps have been designed to be washed and reused.  Either wipe with a damp cloth or hand wash in lukewarm soapy water, then rinse in cold water, and leave to air dry.

You can store your wrap in a drawer or on the counter. We recommend that you roll them, rather than fold, to reduce the creases.

Not suitable for covering raw meat or fish. The wraps are not dishwasher or microwave safe due to the low melting point of the wax covering.

The Brand

BPLASTIC FREE

"Waxyz wraps by Bplasticfree are a unique, reusable alternative for cling film.

Just wrap, store, wash and reuse.

Following voluntary redundancy in 2018 the founder of Bplasticfree, Catriona, headed off to New Zealand. On her very first day there she discovered Beeswax wraps and for the next 9 weeks drove around in a campervan developing the new business idea in her head.

On returning home she immediately put that plan to work and after much cake, coffee and persuasion Bplasticfree began working with the leading wax coating specialists, Halley Stephenson of Dundee, to create their unique food and vegan-friendly product: Waxyz

Bright, colourful and contemporary, and no sticky feel or smell, Waxyz are available in 4 designs, 4 colours and on a roll."
