The Brand
KALICRAME
“I'm Kali, a London-based fashion designer with a passion for macramé art. I love the therapeutic nature of macramé and the satisfaction that comes from creating beautiful designs with my hands. My work is inspired by my own life experiences within diverse surroundings, from the crazy neon lights of Tokyo to London’s urban street culture, via the bohemian vibes of Sydney. I create handmade, contemporary macramé wall hangings and plant hangers using recycled cotton, driftwood and metal pipes, with a touch of neon for a fresh twist. I am very conscious of environmental issues and am always looking for ways to live a more sustainable lifestyle, in order to reduce the impact we have on the environment. I use natural and recycled materials where possible and only use recycled paper for packaging. All pieces are handmade by me, in London, and custom orders are welcome - I would love to create a beautiful piece for your home.”
